Pursuant to our Rule 32, let it be known that this Council salutes the flag of the United States of America and let us recall our oath to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the Commonwealth to the best of our abilities and understanding. I want to thank folks, my colleagues, for being able to be available here this evening for this special meeting. There's only one item on the agenda. It calls for an executive session, so for folks watching at home, we're going to get into this one item. We're going to go into this executive session. We don't have to come out of executive session. we do we're going to come back here but there will be no other substantive discussion in the public meeting so stay tuned for information potentially on thursday for what we're all talking about so i don't want to keep anyone waiting there will be no other items discussed nothing discussed in public in public session this evening so with that said madam clerk would you please read the first item

Item 7.1 is a request of the mayor requesting that this council convene an executive session to discuss techniques for incentivizing tenant recruitment to vacant laboratory space.
